A terminal block, which is also referred to as a terminal connector or screw terminal, is an electrical gadget used for joining two or more wires securely and conveniently. Normally it has a base made of either plastic or metal and some screws or metallic terminals. The connection between the wire and the terminal is made by removing insulation from the end of the wire, wrapping it around the terminal or inserting it under a screw.
